About This Blog

I came up with the concept of this blog as I was falling asleep to the sounds of the radio.  Music has had a large impact on my life.  In fact, most every conscious memory I've ever had has a song that brings that memory back.  It has often been said that music has the power to take you back to a different time, to place you exactly in a memory in which that song was a part of.

I decided that I would write this blog as a "musical autobiography" of sorts.  Basically, I plan on writing out some of my memories as I hear those songs and remember them.  So, if I hear a certain song some afternoon, and it stirs a memory, then I will come to this blog and tell that story.

Obviously, this format is going to make this "autobiography" non-chronological, but it will still be fun to jot down some of my memories for all-time.

Also, check out the "request box".  If you have a favorite song, send it in.  I may have a story to associate to it.  The "request box" will help me a lot, since it may bring up songs that I haven't heard in years, but still have special memories attached to it.

I don't expect this blog to be ultra-compelling, but maybe my memories will stir up some of your memories while you read it.
